You Control The Capital You Commit
Risk Exposure Settings (RES)
The Managed Trading Service allows individual investors to customise the risk that their personal trading account is exposed to.
This allows investors to select the amount of capital they are willing to risk for this type of investment, due to a system (RES) that uses its best endeavours (under normal market conditions) to terminate trading if it reaches the level you set. This provides you with a facility of risk management and is available up to 70% of your investment.
ALL FEES ARE CALCULATED USING THE HIGH WATERMARK APPROACH
A high watermark is a common approach to the calculation of performance fees. It means that performance fees are paid only on NET new rises in asset value.
If a decline occurs, it must be recouped before new performance fees are paid. This ensures that you only pay a performance fee if the account value exceeds its previous high.
Example – You start with £20,000 in an account with a performance fee of 30%, and during the month there is £1800 gross profit.
The performance fee deducted would be 30% of £1,800, which is £540, so your net profit would be £1260 and your account would now have a high watermark of £21,260. If in the next month there was a loss of £500, there would be no performance fee deducted, since there is no profit, and your new balance would be £20,760.
Your high watermark is still £21,260. So there will be no performance fee deductions until your account balance gets above that value.
Remember you can customise the risk that your personal trading account is exposed to. This allows you to select the amount of capital you are willing to risk for this type of investment, due to a system (RES) that uses its best endeavours (under normal market conditions) to terminate trading if it reaches the level you set.
